Return and Refund Policy
ANTIGUA VIBES BOAT TOURS
Booking & Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. As a small private boat charter business, cancellations can have a significant impact on us, particularly when they are made at short notice and we have reserved the boat, crew and other services exclusively for your booking.
By making a booking with Antigua Vibes Boat Tours, you agree to the following Booking & Cancellation Policy.
1. Booking Deposit
A 10% deposit is required to secure and confirm your booking.
The deposit is non-refundable in the event that you choose to cancel your booking.
Your charter date and time are not considered confirmed until the required deposit or agreed payment has been received.
2. Customer Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
Our cancellation terms are:
More than 7 days before your charter:
Any monies paid will be refunded, less the 10% non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable payment processing fees incurred.
Between 48 hours and 7 days before your charter:
A refund of monies paid may be provided, less the 10% non-refundable deposit, any non-refundable payment processing fees and any non-recoverable costs already incurred specifically for your booking.
Less than 48 hours before your charter:
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure are non-refundable.
This is because, at such short notice, it is unlikely that we will be able to rebook the boat and we may already have committed to crew, transport, provisions and other costs for your charter.
3. PayPal, Card & Payment Processing Fees
Where payments are made through PayPal, by card or through another payment provider, transaction or processing fees charged to Antigua Vibes may be non-refundable.
Where these fees are not returned to us by the payment provider following a cancellation, they will be deducted from any refund due to the customer.
4. Additional Services & Pre-Booked Costs
Where Antigua Vibes has arranged additional services specifically for your booking, including taxis, transfers, catering or other third-party services, any costs that cannot be recovered or credited by the supplier may also be deducted from any refund due.
We will always make reasonable efforts to recover or obtain credit for these costs before making a deduction.
5. Weather & Sea Conditions
The safety of our guests and crew is our priority.
Boat tours operate subject to suitable weather and sea conditions. Antigua Vibes reserves the right to change the route, departure time, duration or itinerary where necessary for safety reasons.
Poor weather alone does not automatically constitute a cancellation where the captain considers conditions safe for the charter to proceed.
If Antigua Vibes cancels the charter because conditions are considered unsafe, we will first offer an alternative date where possible.
If a suitable alternative date cannot be agreed, customers will receive a full refund of the charter amount paid to Antigua Vibes.
6. Customer No-Shows & Late Arrival
Customers who fail to attend their booking without prior notice will not be entitled to a refund.
Please arrive at the agreed meeting point at the specified time.
Where guests arrive late, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate them; however, the charter may still need to finish at the originally agreed time.
Significant lateness resulting in the charter being unable to proceed may be treated as a no-show and no refund will be payable.
7. Changes to Your Booking
We understand that circumstances can change and will always try to help.
Where sufficient notice is provided, we may allow a booking to be moved to another available date at our discretion.
Any difference in charter price or additional costs associated with the new booking will be payable by the customer.
8. Illness, Travel Disruption & Personal Circumstances
Cancellations resulting from illness, flight cancellations or delays, cruise itinerary changes, missed connections or other personal circumstances remain subject to our standard cancellation terms.
We strongly recommend that guests have appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation and unexpected disruption.
Where requested, Antigua Vibes will be happy to provide confirmation of the booking and cancellation to assist with a travel insurance claim.
9. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due, Antigua Vibes will confirm the amount and arrange payment back to the customer.
Please allow reasonable processing time for refunds. Once issued by us, the time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card provider or PayPal.
10. Acceptance of this Policy
Payment of a deposit or full charter price constitutes acceptance of this Booking & Cancellation Policy.
We encourage all guests to read these terms before confirming their booking.
